Securinex respects internationally recognised human rights and is guided by the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. We will not knowingly supply, support or train on any capability intended for, or likely to be used for, the unlawful surveillance of journalists, human rights defenders, political opponents or any other person, or for any act that violates human rights.
We supply communications intelligence, geolocation and data-analysis capabilities only to lawfully constituted government agencies and authorised organisations, for lawful purposes such as search and rescue, emergency response, criminal investigation and national security. Every deployment is subject to the laws of the country of use, including any requirement for lawful authorisation before a capability is used.
Our solutions are designed to be no more intrusive than the task requires. They collect and process only the information needed for an authorised purpose, keep it no longer than that purpose requires, limit access to authorised personnel and log actions for audit. Where a less intrusive method can achieve the same result, we recommend it.
Before we take on a project we assess the end user, the intended use and the legal framework that will govern it. We decline, suspend or end engagements where there is a credible risk of misuse.
We comply with the export control and sanctions laws that apply to our work, including UK and European dual-use controls and United States export controls and sanctions, such as those administered by the US Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). We screen customers, end users and partners against the relevant sanctions lists and carry out end-user and end-use checks before supply.
We deliver our systems and services to recognised international, national and industry standards, and to the regulatory requirements of each country we work in.
We handle personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and, where applicable, the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. We never sell personal data, and we do not access or keep our clients' operational data except where a contract and the law require it so we can provide support.
Our training covers the legal, ethical and human rights obligations that govern the systems we supply — not just how to operate them.
Our clients are independently responsible for how they operate the systems and services we supply, and for the accuracy and lawfulness of the information they enter into, or derive from, those systems. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Securinex accepts no responsibility or liability for any misuse of its solutions by clients or third parties, for any use contrary to the purpose for which a solution was supplied, the applicable contract or the law, or for any inaccurate or wrongful information arising from such use.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, Securinex shall use reasonable endeavours to ensure that its solutions are used solely for the purpose for which they were originally supplied. Securinex reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without liability, to suspend support, withhold updates, or suspend or terminate any engagement where it has reasonable grounds to believe that misuse, or a breach of the applicable contract or terms of supply, has occurred.
The information on this website is provided in good faith for general information only. While we work to keep it accurate and up to date, Securinex gives no warranty as to its completeness or accuracy and accepts no liability for any reliance placed on it.
If you have a concern about the possible misuse of any capability supplied by Securinex, please tell us. Concerns are treated in confidence, and no one who raises a concern in good faith will face retaliation.
